Release date 19.May 2015 | Formats: PC *, XBONE and PS4 ]

I went to bed early so I didn’t stay up until launch,(yes I know but I’m getting to old for that shit) but I woke early. After a “short” wait for more to be downloaded. It was 1,6 GB actually even though I pre-downloaded, I was off into the sunset hunting for the sent of “Lilac and Gooseberries” looking for the lovely Yennefer…

The first thing I did was to go the opposite way of where I was suppose to go, searching a field with the stench of war, dead people and loot! After I explored a bit I went on to the first town, helped a blacksmith finding out who burned down his shop and picked up some more quests…then the bloody thing crashed into a freeze in the items menu… Time played: 115 minutes(It has to be said that I didn’t download the Nvidia graphics update, nor did I look at the grapichs settings etc etc.) Will be back later, (SPOILER!) but this is a VERY good game!

Continued May 20:
Well after yesterday “freeze crash” I had a 9 great hours with Geralt of Rivia and his friends. I think Steam downloaded 2 patches while I was playing and the game is up to patch 1.02. Instead of spamming you all with a huge wall of text and spoilers, I will get right down to business:

The Witcher 3 is a beautiful game and the world feels alive, more than most other open world games out there. What I missed about The Witcher 2 was that I couldn’t go where I damned well pleased…they fixed that now. Another thing I missed in the other games is the bloody ability to JUMP! An open world game, any game really, without the ability to jump is worthless…really…They’ve fixed that to(he even climbs)!

I’ve seen a lot about downgrade around and I can understand why they get some shit for that.
I don’t give a fuck about it, but I think developers should learn to talk less about “this is gameplay” so far away from the release.

CDProjekt has said they are sorry and from what I’ve heard they’ll fix that to:
“It’s very important to stress: We are continuously working on the PC version, and we will be adding a lot of stuff, and there is more to come. We’ve proven it in the past that we support our games and we will be looking at the feedback and trying to make it better.”

“We don’t feel good about it and I treat it very personally. Maybe it doesn’t seem [like that] because we run around like crazy at the release but…”The whole team was touched by this, they really care”

But it has always been like that. If you have been playing games for a while, you know.
Remember those old game boxes? With the awesome art on the cover? That was not in the game. Look at games like World of Warcraft with the beautiful CGI trailers…the game looks like shit compared to it. Its always been this way in one form or the other. Internet trolls will always find something to complain about. But they should also learn to think a little before they spewing out tons of shit. Here is how:

There! Hoped that helped ??
The game runs great and looks gorgeous 🙂
Story wise I love it! And this is from me who don’t like interruptions in any way during my gaming, including from the game it self 🙂 The voice acting is good, weird and stumbling at times but kind of charming. Most non important NPC’s wont talk to you anyway, other than the occasionally “I don’t like you. White One”, “Don’t bother me”, “Stay away from me and my family”, “Freak”….they don’t like you much. In that regard it would have been nice to be able to smack them around a bit for calling you a freak, but it’s ok…you can’t go around smacking people about for every little insult, to hard on the repair bills and your knuckles.

Last I want to say to the people complaining about: discrimination, sexism, lack of colored people in the game, bla bla….are you people fucking serious? This is the way the story is told, how CD Projekt Red have chosen to tell it. This is a GAME, not reality or some politic agenda…a GAME! Please shut up if you can!
You people starting to look like this…

YES! I do give a fuck about The Witcher 3 and so should you!
